Well Hello!

Whoever you are… this site is for people who would like to join or those who are already involved with BeaversCubs or Scouts as a member or parent.

If you need any more information or you have a question please get in touch, we’re keen to help.

Our Programme

Our youth programme is split into five sections nationally;

Adults can help with looking after premises, with administration and fund-raising as well as helping out with the youth sections. Here at 4th Ashby we encourage parents to get involved with their children and friends. This might be through sharing a hobby or by participating in one of our infamous “Dads and Lads camps”! (Note; All adults are subject to a CRB check prior to working with young people).

We do ask that each family undertakes a small (or large!) part in our sole annual fundraiser – the Ashby Scout Christmas Post

Beaver Broadcast: 5th Feb Meeting ON

Dear Beavers & Parents,

We are pleased to confirm that our meeting tonight will take place between 5.15 and 6.30.

Please wrap up warm and travel safely – we intend to make the most of the snow and then get warm afterwards.  Parents are very welcome to stop and have a cup of tea with us, especially if you’ve walked in and don’t want to walk back and forth all night!

Note; past experience tells us the access road to the Scout HQ is hard to drive up and down when snow has fallen.  To this end we will cone the drive off and would kindly request that Beavers are dropped off there (we will meet you at this point).

Regards,

Jonathan Bloor
Group Scout Leader (Bear)
