Hi all,


For our Waingunga Christmas Party, we will be hosting this at Swadlincote Ski Centre, with the Cubs participating in a ski lesson. We believe the experience of participating in a winter sport can offer young people so many benefits and help them grow in confidence as they face challenges. It is also an adventurous activity linked to badge work and has its stand-alone badge. 


We have arranged the meeting on Tuesday, 12th December 2023, at Swadlincote Ski Centre, where the Cubs will participate in a one-hour ski lesson. 

Please arrive at 6 pm to get kitted in boots and skis and prepare for the lesson. The lesson starts at 6:30 pm, finishing at 7:30 pm. 


Ski equipment hire is included in the cost. Cubs would need to wear long clothing and gloves. Swadlincote Ski Centre is an outdoor facility. We hope that all Cubs will attend and enjoy our Christmas Party.
