Summer Camp
Where: Blackwell Court
Our summer camp for 2025 will be held at Blackwell Court in Bromsgrove.
It combines the scouts' back-to-basics ideas (patrol cooking, hammocks etc) with the biggest and best adventurous activities. The programme will be decided, but it'll be a busy week.
Parents must get scouts to and from the site, so lift sharing is encouraged (it's about an hour from home).
Could you please sign up by 31st Jan so we can plan accordingly? Deposits are non-refundable,

Splash Camp
Where: Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre
Join us for a weekend of activities at Leicestershire’s biggest annual Scout camp.
- Places are limited, so please only book if you are sure your Scout wants to participate. Otherwise, others will be disappointed.

- We cannot refund payments, so please consider carefully before booking.

Arriving on Friday evening to set up camp, scouts can choose activities on the water or at the OPC (outdoor pursuits centre) throughout Saturday and Sunday.
A kit list will follow.

Gulliver's Kingdom
Where: Gulliver's Kingdom, Matlock
Ashby and Coalville Scouts are organising a day trip to Gulliver's Kingdom in Matlock Bath.
This is open to those who will be beavers or cubs in September, as well as those who have just moved up to Scouts
I have set a limit of around 50 for now to ensure we have enough adults to meet our ratios, but if the event is showing as full please sign up to waiting list as we are likely to have more spaces available.
Attendees will need to bring a packed lunch, and may wish to bring some money for the shop.
Cost
The cost is £29.50 to include transport from the ashby area, park entry and rides.
A deposit of £10 is payable when booking, the balance will be payable mid August
Please note that we are unable to offer refunds apart from in exceptional circumstances.
Drop Off and Pick Up Location
This is to be confirmed, however previous trips (organised by the county) have collected from the bus stop at Tesco in Ashby.
